There have been some changes to the bus service this year.

Wanderer Festival buses will operate from South Pambula, Pambula & Pambula Beach to the festival. Sapphire Coast Buslines are also operating a festival service from Merimbula, Tura Beach, Eden, Bega, Tathra, Kalaru and Wollumla.

Oaklands. If you’re camping with us at Oaklands, your bus ticket is included with your camping ticket. You do not need to purchase a ticket or register for this service. Buses will loop according to demand from the Oaklands Campground to Wander Festival from the festival’s start to finish times each day.

Local Area. A user-pays bus service will run throughout the festival in the local area. Buses will stop in South Pambula (Mt Darragh Rd bus shelter), Pambula (Bennett Lane bus shelter) and Pambula Beach (1 Pambula Beach Rd bus shelter outside Discovery Parks). Bus tickets for this service are sold by Wanderer Festival through Moshtix and must be PRE-PURCHASED. A $10 bus pass covers return trips throughout the festival (you must have a valid Festival Ticket for the day of travel). U10 ride free.

Region. Tickets for the bus service to and from Eden, Merimbula, Tura Beach, Kalaru, Tathra, Bega and Wolumla must be PRE-PURCHASED directly from Sapphire Coast Buslines.Prices are quoted as 1 day festival passes or tickets for the whole festival weekend, and will be as displayed on the Sapphire Coast Buslines website.

A user-pays prepaid service ensures we can provide a comprehensive service over the festival weekend, so you can be confident your festival travel experience will be hassle free. Prices have been kept as low as possible and children U10 ride free.

Wanderer Festival is located a short and easy bike ride from both Pambula and Pambula Beach. Whether you are staying on site or offsite in Pambula or Pambula Beach, bikes are going to be a winning way to get around. You’ll probably arrive quicker than a car, no waiting around and you’ll be parked right on site! Bike racks will be located at the festival site – BYO bike lock.

Upon arrival, your tickets will be scanned and you will be given a wristband to wear for the duration of the festival. If you are camping onsite at the festival or at Oaklands Campground, you must have a campground ticket as well which will also be scanned and you will receive a second wristband for your campground. Your tickets can only be scanned once and your wristband(s) becomes your ticket. You must keep your wristband(s) on to enter and remain at the festival and the campgrounds each day. Your wristband is your pass-out.

There are no vehicle pass-outs for the festival site on Pambula Beach Rd. Vehicles parked in the Onsite Festival Campground will not be able to come and go during the event. If you need to leave the festival each day with your vehicle, you will need to park in off-site car parks located in Pambula and Pambula Beach (see Festival Maps).

If you are camping at Oaklands Campground, there will be a day car park that you can come and go from each day. However your car will need to be in this day park area and not at your campsite. Cars parked within the camping areas at Oaklands cannot drive in and out during the festival. Shuttle buses are included as part of the camping ticket.

The festival and the festival campgrounds are located a short walk or cycle from Pambula Beach and Pambula.

Day parking car parks for festival attendees are located in Pambula and Pambula Beach and can be found here. There is no day parking located on the festival site.

Camping Onsite at the Festival: Patrons with Onsite Tent/Swag or Live In Van campground tickets will be able to park one car onsite per group. These cars will need to remain on site until it’s time to go home and there are no vehicle pass-outs from the festival site. Onsite camping patrons needing to use their vehicle during the event will need to park in day parking. If you have an emergency and are leaving the festival, festival staff will assist you to leave. If you need to leave on Sunday night, this will be possible but you will need to let our parking team know upon your arrival.

Camping at Oaklands: There will be a ‘cars only’ car park at Oaklands and you can park here and use your car as needed. There are no car passouts from the camping areas at Oaklands – cars parked amongst campsites will need to stay put until it’s time to go home. However if you have an emergency and are leaving the festival, festival staff will assist you to leave.

You can purchase tickets for Wanderer Festival 2022 via our ticketing page. Tickets will be on sale until Sunday evening.

There is no box office at the festival and you must pre-purchase your tickets before arriving at the Festival site or campgrounds. Tickets will remain on sale during the festival unless sold out prior. If you want to come to Wanderer Festival, why wait?!

We NEVER recommend buying or selling off a third party because it opens yourself and others up to scammers and there’s a chance your ticket may not scan at entry.

If looking for tickets, we have them available through our website.

We do! Ticket purchases made by a Companion Card holder are eligible to receive a second, complimentary ticket. After purchasing your ticket, please contact Moshtix and select the drop down option titled ‘companion card booking’. Add your companion card details to the box titled ‘tell us a bit more info’ and include your order confirmation email, the full name of your companion and your companion card number. After assessment, Moshtix will email your complimentary companion card ticket. If you have any questions on accessibility please contact us.

3 day tickets including Friday, Saturday & Sunday are the most popular tickets. You can also buy 2 day tickets for Friday & Saturday or Saturday & Sunday; or a single day ticket for Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Saturday tickets were not initially available because it is vital that we balance venue capacity, staffing and operations across each day of the festival and Saturday tickets can throw that out. But with most tickets now sold and evenly spread across all days, we have been able to release a Saturday single day ticket as well to help those that can only make it on that day.  

Camping and Festival entry are two separate tickets. You will need a camping ticket for the specific campground that you want to camp in and you will need a separate ticket for festival entry.

There are no names on tickets so you can give your tickets to a friend and you do not need to request a name change or be the purchaser of the original ticket. The person using the ticket must be in the right age group for the ticket (infant, child, youth or adult). An adult will need to show ID proving their age to obtain an adult 18+ wristband.

We understand Moshtix are very busy with a lot of events at the moment and may take a little time to get back to you. They will ensure all Wanderer Festival enquiries are actioned prior to the event. Our festival team is unable to ‘rebook’ tickets however, if you are concerned about waiting, you can purchase new Wanderer Festival tickets (using the same account and email as your original purchase) and contact us. We will check your new tickets are in the system and then refund your original tickets. As tickets are non-refundable, we cannot refund your original purchase until you have purchased your new tickets – only Moshtix can re-book for you all at the same time.

Re-booking tickets to downgrade tickets only relates to changing camping tickets to non-camping tickets. We do not downgrade tickets for any other reason.

Festival tickets can be upgraded from 1 to 2 day tickets and from 2 to 3 day tickets. Moshtix can assist you to do this via Moshtix. Please be patient as Moshtix are dealing with a huge number of events and shows at the moment and are doing their best. They will ensure all Wanderer Festival enquiries are actioned prior to the event. Our festival team is unable to ‘rebook’ tickets however, if you are concerned about waiting, you can purchase new Wanderer Festival tickets (using the same account and email as your original purchase) and contact us. We will check your new tickets are in the system and then refund your original tickets. Your Wander Festival tickets have been emailed to the email address attached to your Moshtix account and used to purchase your tickets. If you bought festival tickets and camping, please check that you have received festival entry tickets as well as campground tickets. You will need both. If you have not received either festival or campground tickets, please check your junk mail. If you still can’t find them, please contact us or Moshtix via Moshtix ASAP and provide your name, email address used to purchase your tickets, and as many other details as you can. Please be patient as Moshtix are dealing with a huge number of events and shows at the moment and are doing their best.

Please go into your Moshtix account to view your tickets. If that fails, contact Moshtix and ask for your tickets to be reissued.

Tickets will be scanned upon entry to the festival and you will receive a festival wristband to wear throughout the entire festival.

Your tickets are your responsibility. Do not share your tickets with anyone else because tickets will only scan once. If your ticket is used by another person before you arrive, your ticket will no longer be valid and you will not be able to attend the festival without purchasing another ticket (subject to availability).

Wanderer Festival tickets are only sold via Moshtix. We recommend that you do not purchase your tickets from another person unless they are known to you and you trust that your ticket will be valid. We do not take responsibility for invalid tickets.

Your tickets are transferable – are you able to pass them on to a friend?

If not, and if you or your dependents have covid during the festival and if government health orders in place at the time require you to isolate, you can apply for a credit to attend Wanderer Festival 2024. However you will need to obtain a PCR test showing a positive result and date confirming that your isolation period coincides with the festival.

Your credit for Wanderer Festival 2024 will be valid providing your tickets have not been scanned for use at the 2024 event.

We understand that sometimes exceptional circumstances beyond your control can impact you and leave you with no opportunity to attend the event. Extraordinary circumstances include death, serious illness or injury affecting yourself or your immediate dependents and we will help you out where reasonable. We do offer credits for the following year if we deem your extraordinary circumstance to fall within our policy. You will need to submit proof, such as a medical certificate, death certificate and proof of relationship to you, police report, et cetera. The best option is always to give or sell your tickets to someone you know.

If you’ve bought a festival ticket and are now volunteering, you can obtain a refund. However your status as a volunteer will first need to be confirmed by the Wanderer Festival volunteer coordinator. You must complete all of your volunteer obligations or you will be liable for the cost of your ticket.

Festival tickets are subject to the terms and conditions made available on this website and at the point of purchase. Tickets are not refundable except in the exceptional circumstances noted in these FAQ.

Refunds are not granted for changes to everyday circumstances such as work shifts, moving, other commitments, cash flow, friends changing plans, no longer willing to travel etc. This sort of stuff, along with your festival tickets are your responsibility. Your tickets are transferable and we suggest you give or sell them to a friend.

Tickets are not refundable due to weather, unless the entire event is cancelled. The event is being produced by an exceptional team with 3 decades experience in staging outdoor live music festivals and an excellent track record for delivering safe, comfortable and enjoyable events for patrons. The arenas and all associated campgrounds are well placed to cope with extreme weather conditions. The event is being staged in September which consistently delivers the most stable and temperate weather conditions of the year in this area and lowest rainfall.

Children aged 0-2 are free but all festival attendees must have a valid ticket to enter the festival. You can ‘purchase’ free infant tickets when you purchase your festival ticket. Ticket holders aged 3+ will not be able to enter the festival using an infant ticket.

Children aged 3-12 can enter the festival on a ‘child’ ticket. Ticket holders aged 13+ will not be able to enter the festival using a child ticket.

Young people aged 13-17 can enter the festival on a ‘youth’ ticket. Ticket holders aged 18+ will not be able to enter the festival using a youth ticket.

U18 ticket holders must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian at all times. Please refer to the festival Child/Youth Policy included in these FAQ.

To ensure the safety of all attendees, this Child/Youth policy is part of Wanderer Festival’s Conditions of Entry. Infant/Child/Youth Ticket Holders (U18) must be accompanied by a parent or adult guardian with a festival ticket. U18 Ticket Holders who attend without a parent/guardian will not be able to enter or remain at the event. U18 Ticket Holders with camping tickets must camp with their parent/guardian.

A maximum of three U18 patrons may be accompanied by a single responsible adult guardian. A guardian is an adult (18 years+) who is undertaking equivalent responsibility to a parent while at the festival. Any guardian planning on taking U18 ticket holders to the festival needs to consider the responsibility involved very carefully as any actions by the minor will be the shared responsibility of the guardian/parent and the minor. Any parent/guardian who takes an U18 ticket holder to the festival needs to limit their alcohol consumption for the safety of the person in their charge. If U18 patrons do not comply with Ticket Terms & Conditions, Conditions of Entry or direction from the Wanderer Team, the U18 ticket holder and their parent/guardian may be expelled from the event. As per the local accord, the U18 ticket holder will also be banned from re-attending the event for one year for non-compliant behaviour. Non-compliant behaviour includes underage drinking, consuming illegal substances and disruptive behaviour that impacts on the enjoyment and safety of the wider festival community. For any non-compliant behaviour, the U18 ticket holder and parent/guardian may be expelled from the event/banned from the event or depending on the offence face legal penalties.

Any parent/guardian acknowledges that the Wanderer Festival is an all-ages event, the venue is licensed, minors may be exposed to mature themes and the parent/guardian is responsible for accompanying all U18 ticket holders in their care at all times to support the minor’s wellbeing.

Glamping is a great option for those who don’t have camping equipment. Glamping is located at Discovery Parks Pambula Beach and your campsite is included in the Glamping ticket. Discovery is a short 1km walk, cycle or bus ride from the festival site. Glamping tickets are for the entire festival weekend – Friday, Saturday & Sunday night.

Glamping tickets do not include festival entry and you must also purchase a separate festival ticket.

Glamping tickets are sold per site not per person. There are different Glamping tickets available for 2-4 people. See glamping for more information.

Campground gates open on Friday 29 Sep at 9am. Campground gates close on Monday 2nd October Sep at 2pm.

You will need to check-in and have your camping tickets scanned between 9am and 8pm on the day of your first arrival. You will be able to return to camp outside these hours. Gates are closed to arrivals between 1am-9am each day.

Your campsite is valid for the same days as your accompanying festival ticket. For example, if you have a 2 day festival ticket valid for Saturday and Sunday only, you cannot enter the campsite before 9am on Saturday.

Camping at Oaklands: There will be a ‘cars only’ car park at Oaklands and you can park here and use your car as needed. There are no car passouts from the camping areas at Oaklands – cars parked amongst campsites will need to stay put until it’s time to go home. However if you have an emergency and are leaving the festival, festival staff will assist you to leave.

Camping Onsite at the Festival: If you are parking your car with your tent or camping in a vehicle at at the Festival, it needs to stay put and there are no vehicle pass outs from the festival site. However if you have an emergency and are leaving the festival, festival staff will assist you to leave. If you need to come and go from the festival, we suggest you use the car parks close to the festival instead of parking on the festival site. If you need to leave on Sunday night, this will be possible but you will need to let our parking team know upon your arrival.

Yes, but you will need the same type of camping ticket and you will need to arrive with your friends (in the same car or in convoy). You will not be able to reserve space for them and you can’t drive around the campground looking for them.

If you have a campsite at a commercial caravan park, you will need to contact the caravan park directly to discuss how many people can stay with you; the size of your camping setup and whether your sites are located together.

At the Festival site, Live in Van camping and Tent camping are separate and you will not be able to set up camp side by side. However everything is close by and you will have the same onsite camping wristband so you can certainly visit each other’s campsites.

You will all be able to camp together no matter whether you are in a tent, swag, van or camper trailer. There is no restriction on cars per group (although we do still encourage you to carpool to ease traffic congestion and reduce your carbon footprint). A free shuttle bus will take you to and from the festival site throughout the festival and it’s an easy 2.5 km walk or cycle too.

No, sorry. You can’t reserve space for them and you can’t drive around the campground looking for them. You will be parked and camped in sequence upon arrival so you will need to arrive with your friends (in the same car or in convoy) in order to camp together.

You will need the same type of camping ticket too.

Yes you can. Space is limited and this will require everyone’s cooperation to carpool and only bring one vehicle per group booking.

If you must bring a second car, it can be parked at the nearby off site car parks. We will be in touch with onsite camping ticket holders soon, in the lead up to the event.

If you are camping in a Live in Van, problem solved – your car is your camp! If you are camping on the Festival Site, your group will only be able to bring the vehicle you are camping in on to the festival site. The Live in Van section of Onsite Festival Campground is mostly not suitable for tents and swags. It may be possible to have these next to your van but it is unlikely and there is no guarantee. If your setup includes a mix of Live In Vans / motorhomes, tents and swags you’d be best placed camping at Oaklands.

Oaklands Campground which has ample capacity and you will all be able to camp together no matter whether you are in a tent, swag, van or camper trailer. A shuttle bus will take you to and from the festival site throughout the festival and it’s an easy 2.5 km walk or cycle too.

You will need a camping ticket for Oaklands Campground or Discovery Parks in Pambula Beach if you have a caravan, camper trailer or other towed trailer or large vehicle. Onsite camping is limited to tents, swags and Live in Vehicles.

To ask about your glamping site allocation, extend your stay, upgrade your site, check any limits on what you can bring or any other questions relating to your stay, please contact Discovery Parks directly via [email protected] or call 1800 677 808.

Everybody entering the Onsite Festival Campground must have a Festival entry ticket and an Onsite Festival Camping ticket (Tent/Swag or Live in Van). Onsite camping tickets are sold per site not per person. General Camping allows for a max of 4 person per site and Family camping a max of 5 persons.

A Campground ticket is the same price whether you are coming for 1, 2 or 3 nights (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). However your campground ticket is only valid for the same days as your accompanying festival ticket. If you have a 3 day festival entry ticket, you can arrive and camp from Friday. If you have a 2 day festival entry ticket, you can arrive and camp from Saturday and if you have a one day festival entry ticket, you can only arrive and camp on Sunday. Camping is not available for the Friday & Saturday 2 day tickets. This is to keep all campers safe during the festival. 

A campground ticket is only a ticket for camping and will not grant you entry to the festival. Festival entry tickets are sold separately.

Camping at the Main Festival Campground is very limited and there are restrictions on what your can bring (in addition to those outlined throughout the FAQ). Caravans, camper trailers, towed trailers, large buses or other large / heavy camping setups cannot camp in the MainFestival campground. If you have the wrong campground for your camping needs, please contact us ASAP to rebook.

Space is limited and this will require everyone’s cooperation to carpool and only one vehicle per group booking will be permitted on the festival site. If you must bring a second car, it can be parked at the nearby off site car parks.

Camping sites are not marked out nor pre-allocated. However you will be able to use up to 6m X 8m per group of 4 people in general camping and a 5 people in the family camping in your campsite, including your car. 

Discovery Parks: If you bought a glamping campsite at Discovery Parks, your site is booked for Fri, Sat & Sun night. You can find our more about your site and campground facilities, as well as extending your stay, by contacting the caravan park directly.

Festival Site & Oaklands Campgrounds:

Everybody entering a Festival campground must have a Festival ticket and a Campground ticket.

A Campground ticket is the same price whether you are coming for 1, 2 or 3 nights (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). However your campground ticket is only valid for the same days as your accompanying festival ticket. If you have a 3 day festival entry ticket, you can arrive and camp from Friday. If you have a 2 day festival entry ticket, you can arrive and camp from Saturday and if you have a one day festival entry ticket, you can only arrive and camp on Sunday. 2 Day Fri/Sat night camping tickets are not available for purchase to protect the safety of festival goers within the campgrounds for the duration of the festival. 

Your campground ticket allows you to ride the festival shuttle bus for to and from your campground.

A campground ticket is only a ticket for camping and will not grant you entry to the festival. Festival entry tickets are sold separately.

There are showers, toilets, drinking water stations and a camp hub that is staffed 24/7 located in the campgrounds.

Yes, there are water stations for you to fill water bottles.

Oaklands Campground is right next door to Oaklands Barn precinct featuring Longstocking Brewery, Oaklands Cafe, Art Gallery and so much more. Make sure you wander over for a bite, a beverage and a browse during your stay. Oaklands Barn will be serving breakfast from 8am.

Cold ice will be available to purchase from the car park at gate 1 (near the main entry) on the festival site between 10.30am-11.30am on Saturday and Sunday morning. It will be sold for $5 a bag, please bring cash. Ice is also sold at the supermarket and petrol station in Pambula and the Aqua General Store at Pambula Beach.

Due to strict liquor licensing conditions that apply to all camping festivals in NSW, BYO alcohol is not permitted at the festival or in the festival campgrounds. The Wanderer bars located at the main site offer a great range of quality drinks for you to enjoy.

There is a strict NO GLASS policy at the festival. The onsite grounds are used for community sports and the fields at Oaklands Campground is used by horses and other animals outside of event timing.

No generators. This keeps noise and air pollution to enjoyable levels for everyone. Solar panels are a great alternative.

Please leave your gazebos at home. Although a muched loved part of typical holiday camping trips, when you wile away the days around your camp, they don’t make sense at festivals for the following reasons:

Not needed: There’s a full program of music and arts that you won’t want to miss, so any visits back to base will be fleeting. The festival offers a variety of spaces including a Big Top tent and some lovely trees if you want a sheltered space. We’ve also hand picked the location and timing for the best chance of optimal festival weather conditions. Boasting the most stable temperate climate in the country, the Sapphire Coast also experiences its month of lowest rainfall year in year out in September.

Not safe: time and time again, we have seen gazebos take flight. And with their owners off enjoying the show, they pose an unnerving and unacceptable risk to both people and property.

They also get abandoned post festival at an unacceptable rate which is at odds with our sustainability ethos.

Space at the Onsite Festival Campground, Reflections and Discovery Parks is also limited and there is no room for gazebos.

Charging stations will be available around the festival site.

No, fires are strictly prohibited within the Festival event site and campgrounds.

No, animals are not permitted in the campgrounds or at the festival. Guide dogs are permitted.

Whether you’re parking in your driveway, at the supermarket or at a festival, the advice is the same – leave your valuables at home! Then all you have to worry about is the most important things – relaxing, enjoying and sharing experiences with your friends and family. Whether your car is your campsite or parked separately ultimately makes no difference to this advice.

The following items are banned from bringing to the festival site and campgrounds:
* Alcohol
* Glass
* Generators
*Barbecue, Smoker or Cooker that requires solid fuel such as wood, briquettes, wood pellets or charcoal in an area that is not fully enclosed.
*Anything illegal
* Fire: including fire twirling, flares, sparklers, candles or other naked flames
* Gazebos
* Single-use plastic (soft plastics can be taken home and dropped at Redcycle at your local supermarket)
* Laser Lights (LED light are okay)
* Drones
*Walkie Talkies/two-way radios (due to technical interference)
* Anything you don’t plan to take home!

The festival is being staged to a world-class standard and faces greatly increased costs due to being held so far from major centres. It needs people wanting to attend the event to pay for a ticket in order to be sustainable and to continue to be staged each year.

The festival is too important to the local region for us to do anything other than take very seriously TRESPASS and any attempt to obtain entry to the festival without a valid ticket or wristband. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for TRESPASS and comprehensive measures will be implemented to prevent and prosecute TRESPASS.

TRESPASS includes any attempt to gain entry to the festival site or campgrounds without a valid ticket or wristband and wearing an invalid or forged wristband. Wristbands will be continually checked for validity and proper application by festival staff throughout the event. Trespassers will be detained, handed to police and charged with one or more of the following: Falsification of a Document, Obtaining Financial Advantage by Deception and Trespass. The maximum penalty for these dishonesty crimes is 10 years’ imprisonment. Trespassers will receive a criminal conviction and/or a substantial fine.

Trespassers and anyone assisting trespassers will be refused entry or ejected, and banned from future events at the site. If a vehicle is found to be carrying or assisting even one trespasser, all occupants of the vehicle will be refused entry, ejected, and banned from future events.

The following items are banned from bringing to the festival site and campgrounds:
* Alcohol
* Glass
* Generators
*Barbecue, Smoker or Cooker that requires solid fuel such as wood, briquettes, wood pellets or charcoal in an area that is not fully enclosed.
* Anything illegal
* Fire: including fire twirling, flares, sparklers, candles or other naked flames
* Gazebos
* Single-use plastic (soft plastics can be taken home and dropped at Redcycle at your local supermarket)
* Laser Lights (LED light are okay)
* Drones
*Walkie Talkies/two-way radios (due to technical interference)
* Anything you don’t plan to take home!
* Pets / animals. Guide dogs are permitted.

Absolutely! The festival is a shared space where people from all walks of life come together to live and celebrate side by side for a long weekend. Our job is to create an environment that brings out the best in everyone – be you five or fifty! There will be plenty of scope to customise your very own epic festival experience without impacting on anyone else’s. But just in case, we do also have a no dickhead or dickhead behaviour policy. We trust you know what this means, but just in case, here are some of the things likely to get you kicked out for the sake of others (and yourself too):
* Doing anything illegal
* Putting yourself or others are serious risk of injury (including fighting and getting wasted)
* Threatening behaviour
* Driving in campgrounds (other than to enter or depart to go home) or driving in excess of 5 km per hour in campgrounds
* Unsupervised U18s without a parent or guardian at all times
* Failing to supervise U18s in your care
* Drinking alcohol as an U18
* Enabling an U18 to drink alcohol
* Losing or tampering with your wristband in anyway – you must look after this, it is your ticket and proof of valid entry.
* Helping anyone to gain entry to the festival without their own valid festival ticket or wristband
* Damaging or taking property of the festival, the venues or other campers

Campground gates open at 9am each day and close approximately 30 mins after the entertainment finishes for onsite camping and coinciding with the last bus run arriving at Oaklands Campground.

Wanderer Festival offers a swathe of entertainment for children aged 3+. Check out our information for families for more detail.

The bars are card only and some catering and marketing stalls may be too. We recommend you check your balance before leaving home and that you plan to pay by card at the festival.

Yes! charging stations will be available around the festival site.

A First Aid Tent will be located in the red brick building close to the free water stations (marked on the festival map). We also recommend that campers pack a First Aid Kit.

Lost property can be handed in to and collected from the Information Tent at the main festival site. The information Tent is marked on the map, please see maps here.

If you lose or find a child that has wandered off, please tell a festival staff member (there’ll be plenty around and you’ll recognise them by their Staff/Volunteer t-shirts and wristbands); or visit the Information Tents. We recommend writing your phone number on their wristband and making sure they know it’s there. It’s also important to establish a meeting point with your kids on arrival in case you get separated. Choose somewhere that is easy to spot for a small child from any direction and somewhere that’s not crowded. Show them where the information tent is and let them know they can always ask our friendly staff, volunteers or security for help. If you’re camping, decorate your campsite with something highly visible and show your kids around to help them navigate their way home if they wander off.

Pack for warm sunny days and layer up with warmer clothes in the evenings.

We have plenty of undercover entertainment available on well drained ground, including two Big Top Tents. It’s always good to bring along wet weather gear – gumboots won’t be necessary.

Wanderer Festival is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets available available on the main event site. All stages will have viewing areas dedicated for wheelchairs. Disabled parking will be set aside for eligible patrons close to the site entrance. It is important to contact us to discuss your specific needs.

Service animals are welcome at the festival. We will have dedicated accessible viewing areas for those with a disability and requiring this support. We will have a dedicated area for disabled patrons in the campgrounds with easy access to the event.

We do! Ticket purchases made by a Companion Card holder are eligible to receive a second, complimentary ticket. After purchasing your ticket, please contact Moshtix and select the drop down option titled ‘companion card booking’. Add your companion card details to the box titled ‘tell us a bit more info’ and include your order confirmation email, the full name of your companion and your companion card number. After assessment, Moshtix will email your complimentary companion card ticket. If you have any questions on accessibility please contact us.

You are welcome to bring on to the festival site and campgrounds any food you require to meet your needs; but we do encourage you to try some of the wonderful local produce we’ve curated for you. You cannot bring glass on to site, so please keep this in mind when packing.

Oaklands Campground: is right next door to Oaklands Barn precinct featuring Longstocking Brewery, Oaklands Cafe, Art Gallery and so much more. Make sure you wander over for a bite, a beverage and a browse during your stay. Oaklands Barn will be serving breakfast from 8am.

Due to strict liquor licensing conditions that apply to all camping festivals in NSW, BYO alcohol is not permitted at the festival or in the festival campgrounds. The Wanderer bars located at the main site offer a great range of quality drinks for you to enjoy.

There is a strict NO GLASS policy at the festival. The onsite grounds are used for community sports and the fields at Oaklands Campground are used by horses and other animals outside of event timing.

Volunteer Benefits
Volunteers must complete a minimum of 12 hours in the lead up to or throughout the festival. In exchange, volunteers will receive:
