Wolfmother

Wolfmother

It began with a Gibson SG and a riff. But what came next stopped the world in its tracks, selling millions of albums en route. The year was 2005 and the universe belonged to a three-piece band from Sydney named Wolfmother. Much has happened since those heady rock-conquering days… acclaimed albums, global tours, chart triumphs and personal growth.

An iconic frontman in every sense, and carrier of the Wolfmother flame, Andrew Stockdale has refused to play the game, instead pushing himself creatively through such iconic albums as Cosmic Egg (2009), New Crown (2014) and Rock’n’Roll Baby (2019). Stockdale returned in 2021 with one of his most thrilling offerings yet in Rock Out.

Wolfmother have amassed an international fanbase like few others, playing to packed houses the world over – and fabled for their high-octane rock that sound-checks the best of them, including fellow antipodean greats AC/DC and the legendary Black Sabbath. But it’s with their own unique brand of cosmic rock the band has earned its stripes as one of the true titans of 21st Century rock’n’roll. Catch the colossus as it rolls through Wanderer.
