London-based artist Jamie Reynolds is the founding member and co-singer of 2000s “New Rave” band Klaxons. His music obsession began watching 90s rave “Fantazia” from a Bournemouth hillside as a teen, leading to early DJ sets mixing everything from Can and The Fall to every Electroclash 12″ that landed in the record shop he worked in.
Moving to London in the early 2000s, he immersed himself in the New Cross music scene, influenced by Erol Alkan, Optimo, and DFA Records. He created marathon sets of psychedelia, post-punk, and heavy beats while hosting South London club nights.
Jamie has recently performed at All Points East festival for BBC Radio 6 and regularly DJs at London’s underground venues “Try Outs” and “The Gun.” A current resident at Soho Mews House, Pyro, Hidden Grooves, and Fuzz Club, he’s scheduled to play this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals and will return to the highly anticipated “Bugged Out Weekender” in March 2026.
“I’m as happy playing a seven hour vinyl only marathon of rarities, disco and house at a listening bar as I am playing techno or mid 00s bangers on a USB for a festival set. It’s all about reading the crowd and delivering.”
