a) Referred to by The Promoter as WIN The Ultimate Wanderer Festival Experience
a) The Competition Period commenced at 9.30am on Thursday 20th April 2023 AEST (at the commencement of sales to Wanderer Festival 2023) and closes at 11.59pm AEST on Monday 21st August, 2023.
a) Wanderer Festival (The Festival) is a world-class yet boutique music festival set in the pristine location of Pambula Beach over the long weekend from 29 Sept – 1 Oct, 2023. A truly multi-generational experience, Wanderer welcomes traditional festival goers as well as families to the bucolic wonderland that is the Sapphire Coast in southern New South Wales. The full line-up features over 70 artists and encompasses an expertly curated program of music, art, comedy, theatre, circus and artisan workshops over three unforgettable days and nights. The unique and creative spirit of the Sapphire Coast region is integral and is featured throughout the music and arts program, epicurean feasts and craft offerings.
a) The prize is for 4 people (The Winner and up to 3 guests of The Winner).
b) Tickets purchased by The Winner (and purchased tickets held by their nominated guests) to Wanderer Festival 2023 will be upgraded to VIP Wanderer Festival 2023 tickets. VIP tickets grant access to The Festival VIP area where VIPs will have access to the VIP bar, dining, lounge, toilets, beer garden alongside VIP and AAA guests of The Festival. The Festival access and VIP access is granted for the same dates as the original tickets purchased.
c) Backstage access will be granted for a limited time to meet an artist performing at The Festival at a time when the artist is at The Festival for their performance. The Winner can nominate their top 5 artists they would like to meet and The Festival will secure a meet and greet opportunity with one of them. The Festival will make requests in the priority order supplied by The Winner as soon as practicable once The Winner is notified that they are The Winner and advised The Festival of their preferences. The Festival will use its best endeavours to secure The Winner’s first choice.
d) Accommodation during The Festival is in our well-appointed Wanderer caravan. The caravan is a modern Jayco Expanda Pop Top, 6 berth (2 double beds and 1 single bunks) with linen, kitchen and dining. An external private toilet will be provided. The caravan will be situated in a premium on-site location as determined by The Festival with an enclosed courtyard. The campsite will be located within the Live in Van campground at the Pambula Community Fields (location of The Festival). The Caravan will be parked in place by The Promoter and will not be moved by The Winner. The Winner will need to supply their own transport for The Festival.
e) A gift hamper to the value of $300 featuring some of the region’s finest food and drink offerings will be provided.
f) Fresh oysters delivered to the accommodation at The Festival or collected from VIP at an agreed time.
g) Whale Watching Cruise for 4 people with Sapphire Coastal Adventures. $300 Voucher valid for 12 months from the time of the draw. Bookings are subject to availability.
h) Dine at Valentina, Merimbula’s finest hatted restaurant – $300 voucher valid for 12 months from the time of the draw. Bookings are subject to availability.
i) With the exception of the vouchers for Valentina and Sapphire Coastal Adventures which are valid for 12 months, The Prize must be used at Wanderer Festival 2023 and cannot be carried over to a future event.
a) The total Prize Value is $4,500 (GST Included).
b) The Prize (or any part thereof) is not redeemable for cash or for a credit under any circumstances.
a) Entry is open to all Australian residents over the age of 18 except as otherwise stated in these Terms and Conditions.
b) To enter The Competition and be eligible for The Prize, entrants must be the holder of one or more valid adult two or three day tickets to The Festival during the Competition Period from The Festival’s authorised ticketing agent (Moshtix). Holding a one day ticket or a youth, child or infant ticket does not qualify for entry into The Competition.
c) The Winner may share The Prize with nominated guests that are under the age of 18. The Youth Policy of The Festival applies to all attendees of The Festival that are aged under 18.
d) The Promoter is Wanderer Festival Pty Ltd. Employees of this organisation, its affiliate organisations and their immediate families are ineligible to enter The Competition.
e) Each entrant (person that purchased the ticket through Moshtix) will receive one entry into The Competition for each adult two or three day ticket to The Festival that they purchased. For the avoidance of any doubt, if an adult purchases 2 adult and 2 children 2 or 3 day tickets to The Festival, they will receive 2 entries into The Competition (one for each of the adult attendees). If an adult purchases 1 adult 3 day ticket and 1 adult 1 day ticket to The Festival, they will receive 1 entry into The Competition (for the 3 day Adult ticket only.)
f) The winner may share The Prize with up to three guests (of any age.)
g) The Winner and their nominated guests must hold valid purchased tickets to The Festival at the time of The Festival and must use these tickets in order to enter The Festival and claim The Prize.
h) Entrants into The Competition can increase their chances to win by tagging 3 or more friends in the comments of the social posts about The Competition posted by Wanderer Festival. Each entrant into The Competition can gain one extra entry into The Competition by tagging their friends in a Wanderer Festival post about The Competition.
i) All entries into The Competition become and remain the property of The Promoter.
j) All information and terms and conditions contained here, including information about The Competition, The Festival, The Prize, Prize Value, The Winner, The Draw, How to Enter, Competition Period, The Promoter, General Terms and Conditions, Additional Terms and Conditions and any terms and conditions supplied by The Promoter in relation to The Competition, form part of the Terms and Conditions of The Competition. Entry into The Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
k) An entrant into The Competition may withdraw from The Competition at any time by notifying The Promoter in writing via [email protected].
l) Any entry submitted outside the Competition Period will be deemed invalid and will not be eligible for The Prize.
a) One person will win The Prize.
b) The Winner can share The Prize benefits with up to three additional guests.
c) The Winner will be selected at the offices of The Promoter on Monday 13th August, 2023.
d) The Winner will be notified on Monday 13th August, 2023.
e) The Winner will be notified by the email address supplied by The Winner when purchasing tickets to The Festival. In the event that The Promoter is unable to reach The Winner by email, The Winner will be notified by the phone number supplied by The Winner when purchasing tickets to The Festival.
f) The name of The Winner may be published on Wanderer Festival social media channels.
g) The Winner will notify The Promoter of the names and details of The Winner’s three additional guests.
h) In the event that The Winner cannot be contacted within 10 business days of The Draw, a new The Winner will be drawn immediately and notified.
a) The Competition is a game of chance. The Winner will be picked randomly.
i)The Winner will be selected at the offices of The Promoter on Monday 13th August, 2023 by The Promoter.
b) The Promoter will make three (3) attempts to award The Prize to The Winner before The Prize is forfeited.
a) The Promoter is Wanderer Festival Pty Ltd. Wanderer Festival Pty Ltd is a registered company with offices at 5/32 Market St Merimbula 2548 NSW.<
a) The judges’ decision, made by The Promoter, will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
b) The Promoter will not be responsible or liable for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, destruction, unauthorised access to or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of The Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend The Competition, subject to State laws and regulations.
c) All details of the entrants will be used and preserved in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the office of The Promoter. Unless otherwise notified, The Promoter may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional and publicity purposes. Entrants consent to their full names and/or their entries being used in all media by the Promoter.
d) The Promoter and its associated companies will not be held liable for any loss (including, for the avoidance of doubt, any consequential loss), damage, cost, expense or injury directly or indirectly incurred or sustained by any of The Winner or their associates as a result of The Winner accepting or taking part in any aspect of The Prize.
e) To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any other reference to this competition, these Terms and Conditions prevail.
f) These Terms and Conditions are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of NSW and The Promoter and entrants agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of NSW.
g) The caravan will be cleaned prior to arrival and The Winner is required to return the caravan undamaged and in clean and tidy condition.
h) The Winner agrees to The Promoter imposing a pre-authorisation transaction as a bond of $2,000 to cover any theft, damage or other failure to return the caravan in the same state that it was received by The Winner. No funds will not be debited from the cardholders account unless required to cover reasonable expenses incurred by The Promoter to reinstate the condition of the caravan.
i) The Winner of The Prize is fully responsible for arranging fulfillment of the Prize at their own cost (e.g. flights, accommodation, travel expenses, etc.)
a) The Winner and their guests are subject to the Terms and Conditions of purchasing a ticket and attending Wanderer Festival which can be found here.
