A new musical venture created by songwriter Lorkin O’Reilly and California Clawhammer banjo player Jonny Pickett, Dug arrives as a musical experience that simply must be experienced live. Drawing inspiration from both American and Irish musical traditions, Dug fuses the heritages of both its members in a way that has led to the creation of music that has a strong foundation at its core.
Dug’s debut single ‘Jubilee’ was shortlisted for two GRAMMY nominations in 2024 (‘Best Americana Song’ and ‘Best Americana Roots Performance’), a perfect way to light the path forward as the duo looks ahead to the release of their debut album in 2025.
