With their refreshing and captivating take on Australian post-punk music, Newcastle five-piece dust have become one of the East Coast’s favourite groups. A clash of immersive guitars and boundary-pushing instrumentation has bred some wonderfully intense and engaging material – a body of work that has grown consistently since the band’s inception in 2020.
dust has curated a sound that has remained individualistic through the years, from their debut album – 2023’s et cetera, etc – and strong singles in 2024 (‘New High’, ‘Trust U See’). 2025 stands to explore a new set of inspiration and sonic bends.
