Hold//Fire are a four piece alt-rock band from Warncoort in South West Vic. Melodic and emotionally charged vocals forge their way through weighty guitars and driving rhythm section to create a unique sound which nods to the bands punk, heavy and alternative rock influences.
Formed in 2018 and equipped with a collective truckload of previous band/gigging experience, the four piece were quick off the mark with their debut album ‘The Space in Between’ (2019). The album, featuring the single ‘Safety in Numbers’ was highly praised, receiving commercial radio play and earning them a spot at the inaugural BIG Festival alongside acts such as Alex Lahey and Ball Park Music. This was followed by a quick succession of festival appearances including Loch Hart Festival, Great Australian Beer Festival, Two Worlds Festival along with a bunch of club shows in Melbourne and Geelong and along the Surf Coast.
As a live act, prepare for all seasons. There are moments when you’ll be in a staring contest with Andy all the way until the guitars pick you up and throw you in the nosebleeds.
